The World is Watching

www.baidu.com

The entire world is watching and waiting the outcome of President-elect B. Obama's political victory in the USA--i.e. reflecting the "consciousness of America cutuzens."

Why? Obama's "inclusiveness" approach to "all inclusive problems/public concerns" of the American people with consideration for those in other countries who are directly impacted by the "situational problems" takes into account-solution impacts on other countries--and those countries have both an active role and active-self interest concern-in the solutions and the implementation thereof. After all, what America does for America has direct impact on its neighbors--who, under the Bush-ism GOP political goals of "Selfish Feed and Greed-damn all others," give no consideration. Why would Irag agree to the demand of Bush's Feed and Greed demand that the USA be given an exclusive-right to all its oil output for the next 50 years? Who, even not in their right mind would agree to theft--under guise of "negotiations." (with a gun at one's head).

Be not deceived- whatsoever a man sowe-'THAT' shall he reap-

Bush & and by extension McCain must go!! Hillary and Billary (the self-proclaimed "Black Man's past impeached president"- discovered the error of his way-by the voters response-choosing Obama over Bill's ole lady (who refused to kneel) to 5-1 vote margin.

Regarding the "female right" [assumed she has the implied right to be the 1st female president of the USA].

That tact does not brew well in more than 90% of other countries--[their histories and cultural standards have 1,000 or more years of "women staying in their place in the family and by exension- in public/political matters.].

Ignoring traditions of others does not attest to one's leadership experiences gained during one's 'time in the white House."

Is it not strange-that "sex" (or the lack thereof between lawfully married husband & wife) is the one item that resulted in the Impeachment of Bill Clinton?

While the entire world watched-and covered their mouths to hide the laughter at such non-issues of importance--by any president-resulting in impeachment--and Hillary was (is?) at fault--

And yes, America is ready for a president who have "inclusive developed resoultions to inclusive problems of the citizenery of this great country" [jobs, climate change, health care, education (not just one test-trickery]

Yes, America is ready for a presidnet who will do what is collective and inclusive of all peoples impacted thereby- in the USA and abroad. Yes, the world is watching America-awaiting its response to "ability-intelligence-honesty and morality" found in Obama (absent in Hillary).

And yes, with Obama as its president- America will again ascend to the position of "world leadership by inclusion of other nations/countries in world problems and concerns." The only candidate who fully understand that any Presidental policy implemented in the USA has direct impact on other countries.

And, YES America is ready for "common decency" in its President and its policies.

The World IS watching - there watching you! (2.00 / 8)

This diary is disturbing in so many ways it's hard to know where to start. I wish there was a way to rate diaries on MyDD. I'd give this one a big fat "0" for detestable. It does nothing to build up Obama. It's all about disparaging Hillary and Bill Clinton.

There's plenty of opportunity for a positive diary about how the world percieves this race without getting into the Clintons' troubles.

I understand what you're getting it, I just think that a little more care should be used in stating the case.

I prefer Obama as I've had my reservations about Hillarys campaign thus far (though I wouldn't go as far as vote for McCain over her), however this diary is not very classy.

Also, as a woman I find it offensive that somehow other nations restrictive views on women is supposed to be taken as a consideration not to vote for Hillary.

Re: The World is Watching (2.00 / 1)

Going on the "offensive" won't help us here. We have to be the blogosphere reincarnation of Ghandi or MLK Jr. Nonviolent resistance, so to speak. If we show the Clinton supporters around here the images they'll built up in their mind is wrong, we can do far more that way than by this.

Yes, it sucks here sometimes. Clinton supporters seem to have free reign to do what they please; I had a gang of them going back through and hide-rating my comments, for instance, methodically, and when I called them out on it politely, I was given a warning about my "behavior". I lost my ability to mojo-rate diaries and recommend them for no reason I can discern, even being a trusted user. It's horrifying unfair for people who rail against censorship and unfairness from Obama supporters.

But if we take it all in stride, keep up a positive dialog, and move forward, that sort of behavior inflicted on Obama supporters starts to come into view, and look reprehensible. Most of the Clinton supporters here have recognized that, I think, and understand we have more in common than not.

Re: The World is Watching (2.00 / 2)

As a progressive, thank you Ragekage for trying to convince KathyM to stop spewing vile word vomit on mydd towards Sen. Clinton. Obviously, posting bs like this diary isn't winning over any Clinton supporters, that is for sure. Sadly, I have been reading the garbage KathyM posts for a few months now and all I can say to you is good luck. KathyM has proved she is queen of the Obamabots - a person so emotionally attached to her candidate she is incapable of recognizing Sen. Obama's various mistakes, faults and flip-flops, and she is literally incapable of rationally evaluating anything without using detestable lies, assumptions and various other stale accusations she lifted from rushlimbaugh.com. To KathyM: I suggest if you are trying to help your candidate, you should try not to pigeon-hole yourself as a member of the nut-job faction of the Democratic party. You have been identified as such by me, and I will continue to monitor and then dismiss your hate-filled tirades. This type of "offense" on behalf of Sen. Obama is just that: OFFENSIVE.

Re: The World is Watching (2.00 / 1)

Maggie,

My admonishment of the behavior I discussed above would extend towards you, and other Clinton supporters, as well. Using words like "Obamabot" only serves to dehumanize Obama supporters, which I certainly don't appreciate. And I could argue that there are just as many Clinton supporters so wrapped up in their candidate they ignore all else, and easily provide plenty of evidence to that effect. Just keep in mind that if you decry someone else's behavior, you should expect to be held by the same standards.

There are Clinton supporters on this site that have, by far and away, exceeded any metric of vileness you'd care to establish, and I have NEVER called them idiots; what's more, I've never seen you decry that behavior, either.

Do you personally know the author? I doubt it or you wouldn't be making such generalizations. If you are truly an Obama supporter, who wants to see the best done by your candidate, I would submit that you listen to the voices of other Obama supporters when it comes to this diarist. There will come a time in this campaign when it will be vital that we come together. Ask yourself, does this kind of diarist really have that in mind? And, please stop saying that the other side is worse, because if we don't get it together, then you will have another for years of republican rule. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you really want that.

I'm saying both sides have engaged in child's play, and it's not excusable in either circumstance; please don't put words in my mouth.

The Ugly American Goes Global (2.00 / 2)

My, my, KathyM now speaks for the world! KathyM has gone global! LOL.  Unfortunately your utterly incoherent diary is proof of the decline of the American educational system more than anything else.

In contrast to your embarrassing gibberish, I leave you with an article from China Times about the good work of President Clinton and his global Foundation.

Clinton Foundation to aid China with AIDS
(Agencies)
Updated: 2004-04-30 09:35

The Chinese government hired Bill Clinton's private foundation Thursday to deliver treatment and care for HIV-AIDS patients in China, the foundation announced.

The William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation's HIV-AIDS Initiative will also help China develop better systems of care for the disease.

"I congratulate China for undertaking this aggressive and timely effort to address the AIDS epidemic," Clinton said in a news release. The former president has made treatment of AIDS around the world a central aim of his post-presidency.

Clinton spoke at the Tsinghua University Summit on HIV-AIDS in China last November. His foundation works to buy equipment, train medical personnel and funnel medicine into 18 countries in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

Ira Magaziner, chairman of the foundation's Boston-based HIV-AIDS arm, signed an agreement Thursday with Chinese Vice Minister of Health Wang Longde in Beijing, the foundation said.
